Orlando Science Center set for Noon Year’s Eve

The new year comes a little bit early at Orlando Science Center.

Its celebration — dubbed Noon Year’s Eve — gets started in the late morning of Dec. 31.

The hourlong event kicks off at 11:30 a.m. with celebratory crafts, party hats and resolutions in the DinoDigs area of the Loch Haven Park museum. At high noon, there will be a countdown and streamer drop.

In KidsTown, there will be an opportunity to learn how cultures around the world celebrate New Year’s.
